Note for participants: If you have already sent us a picture and we haven't seen it, you can send it to us via direct message on Instagram (@wienernimmerland) and you will automatically receive a Wiener Nimmerland T-shirt as compensation!

Conditions of participation

Here are the detailed terms and conditions for our Instagram competition, the “Wiener Nimmerland Logo Challenge”. If you are looking for a quick summary of the terms and conditions, check out the associated Instagram post.

1. Organizer

The competition is organized by Wiener Nimmerland, a sole proprietorship based in Vienna, Austria. This competition is in no way connected to Instagram and is neither sponsored, supported nor organized by Instagram. The information provided will be used exclusively by Wiener Nimmerland to conduct this competition.

2. Eligibility

Natural persons who are at least 14 years old and resident in Austria are entitled to participate. Employees of Wiener Nimmerland are excluded from participation. Participation in the competition requires acceptance of these terms and conditions.

3. Participation process

The participation process was changed on 26.5.24 due to technical problems [the original text can be viewed below]:

To take part in the competition, you must first follow our Instagram profile @wienernimmerland. You can then take part by sending your creative image, which includes the Wiener Nimmerland logo, directly to us via private message on Instagram. Any creative method is possible, from painting on a canvas, to digitally editing/creating or inserting it into photographs, to reinterpreting our logo, everything is allowed.

The image can also be posted publicly as a post or story and tagged @wienernimmerland. However, there are currently technical difficulties with the competition hashtag #wienernimmerland2024. Posts under this hashtag are currently not displayed and we are not notified of tags that are used together with the hashtag. Instagram support has already been contacted to resolve the issue, but it may take some time for a response.

Because of this challenge, the picture for participation can only be sent via private message. We will publish all submitted pictures on our Instagram profile, each one marked as a "competition entry" and with the name of the author, if desired. Participants who do not wish to be named as the author of their work can express this wish together with their picture in the private message.

This ensures that all entrants' contributions are recorded correctly and all entrants have an equal chance, regardless of technical issues with Instagram hashtags.

If required, the logo here in PNG or JPG format, each in the sizes 500px and 2000px. You can also come and collect 40 stickers with the Wiener Nimmerland logo for the competition or have them sent to you (for people outside Vienna). Please just write to us about this, postage costs will be covered.

4. Competition period

The competition begins on May 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. and ends on June 3, 2024 at 11:59 p.m., a period of 2 weeks. Posts published on Instagram after this period will no longer be considered.

5. Prices

Main prize (1st prize): Exclusive hoodies, a T-shirt and a fabric bag, all printed with the Wiener Nimmerland logo.

Additional prizes (2nd to 10th prize): Nine additional winners will each receive a T-shirt printed with the Wiener Nimmerland logo.

A selection of sizes is only possible if available. T-shirts are available in sizes S, M, L, XL (a few S and M items). Sweaters are only available in XS, L or XL.

Cash payment or transfer of the prize is not possible.

6. Determination of profit

A jury consisting of the Wiener Nimmerland team and an external person will select the winners based on creativity and originality. The ten best entries will be selected and the main prize will be randomly drawn from these. The main prize drawing will be filmed and the video will be published on Instagram to announce the winners.

The jury’s decision is final.

7. Announcement and notification of winners

The winners will be announced no later than three days after the end of the competition via an Instagram post in which their Instagram name and the winning photo will be published. In addition, the winners will be contacted via Instagram direct message and asked to provide their address details so that the prizes can be sent. If a winner does not respond within two weeks of us contacting them, their right to the prize will expire. Any prizes not reported will be drawn again.

8. Receipt of winnings

The winners can choose whether they would like to collect their prize in person from Wiener Nimmerland or prefer to have it shipped.

We need the winners' address details for shipping. As soon as we have received all the relevant contact details, the prizes will be sent out together. We will endeavour to send the prizes no later than two weeks after the announcement and thus the end of the registration period. Wiener Nimmerland will cover the shipping costs.

If a winner does not want to provide their address details or prefers to collect the prize, they can collect it in person, either directly from the Wiener Nimmerland office or from the tour start point at Karlsplatz. In any case, an appointment must be made before collecting the prize.

9. Data protection

The personal data collected as part of the competition will only be used to process the competition. After the competition has ended and the prizes have been distributed, all data will be deleted unless there are legal retention requirements to the contrary. The names of participants who wish to be named as the authors of their works (whether Instagram handle or full name) will only be used for the purposes of naming the authors in connection with the publication of the works. This data will be treated according to the same strict data protection guidelines as all other personal data in our company.

10. Limitations of Liability

Wiener Nimmerland is not liable for damages caused by technical errors, loss of data or other disruptions during the competition that are beyond its control.

11. Transfer of rights

By uploading their contribution, participants grant Wiener Nimmerland the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use the submitted photos, images and texts as part of their online communication. This includes the right to edit, save and make the contributions publicly available. Participants who wish to be named as the author of their work can do so by expressing their wish.

12. Right to change and termination

Wiener Nimmerland reserves the right to change or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice should unforeseen circumstances so require.

13. Legal recourse and application of law:

Legal recourse is excluded. This competition is subject exclusively to Austrian law. Any legal disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vienna.

Sticker order

If required, you can also pick up stickers with the Wiener Nimmerland logo in the 2nd district. Or we can send them to participants outside Vienna free of charge. 40 stickers will be given out or sent per person. We will cover the shipping costs.
Please just send us a private message on Instagram or by Mail Let us know and include your address details. These contact details will not be stored anywhere and will only be used to send the stickers!

All posts will be reposted by Wiener Nimmerland in order to be able to select the winners at the end of the competition.

On July 16, the option to download the logos will be removed again.
