Bookings for schools / school classes
Wiener Nimmerland is part of the Vienna Educational Opportunities program, and Nico's Tour is considered an official Wienxtra offering. This allows participating schools to bill their participation in Nico's Tour directly through Vienna Educational Opportunities.
Nico's tour can be billed via Wienxtra again from next school year, i.e. from September 2026.
Bookings for dates in the high and low seasons
The months leading up to the summer holidays are particularly busy for us, as many schools plan their Vienna weeks, project days, or end-of-year trips during this time. To ensure fair and predictable scheduling despite our limited capacity, slightly stricter rules apply to cancellations and changes to bookings during this period (more information available from [contact information missing]). Changes & cancellations during peak season).
The other months are considered off-season. During this time, we can continue to offer our usual flexible booking and cancellation policies (more information at [contact information]). Changes & cancellations during the off-season).
Bookings for large groups (30 people or more)
There is no official maximum limit. We've already had tours with 60-70 students, and that worked perfectly even without technical support. So, in principle, large groups can easily participate in a tour together.

To ensure that everyone hears the tour equally well, even with so many participants, we now use a Audio tour guide system. The tour guide wears a small microphone and up to 40 participants can listen simultaneously via headphones.
Important: Not all participants need audio support – especially those who are at the front with the tour guide can hear him perfectly well without it.

Outside of peak season, a large group can easily be split into two tours. These can then take place simultaneously with two different tour guides.
