There are two tours – two tour guides offer a unique insight into life on the streets and the reality of addiction. Our tours are led by former addicts who share their life stories.
Nico is only 23 years old and was homeless from the age of 13. He talks about times that are only a few years in the past. Martin is somewhat older, therefore more reflective, and goes into greater depth; he speaks about experiences that are many years in the past but still have an impact today. Both have similar life experiences, but each has their own unique story and they are at different stages of their lives.

Martin's tour can be booked in German or English. For group bookings, the language can be selected directly. Due to low demand, tours in English are only offered on request for individuals and small groups.

Both Fixed-date tours, where individual bookers and small groups can join in, groups usually form with approximately 8 to 15 people.
At Tours with school classes are 20-30 students Completely normal.

Our tours start from at least 8 participants This applies regardless of whether there are several individual bookings, small groups, or one group. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tour may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the start. Participants will be informed of a possible cancellation 3 days in advance and of a confirmed cancellation 1 day in advance.

There are no official maximum. We've already done tours with 60-70 students and it worked out great. Large groups can easily participate in a tour together.
For large groups of 40 people or more, it can either be free of charge

The audio tour guide system allows the entire tour to be broadcast live. The tour guide has a small microphone, and participants can also listen using headphones connected to small audio devices.
The group can be divided into two tours in two ways: Either both tours take place simultaneously, each with a different tour guide, or one after the other, with at least a half hour break in between.
There are no additional costs for the audio tour guide system or for splitting the group!

functionWhen using the audio tour guide system, the tour guide wears a small microphone, and participants receive small receivers with which they can listen via headphones. Headphones are provided if needed.
Audio support is only needed for very large groups and is included free of charge for groups of 45 or more. For smaller groups, the audio tour guide system can be added for a fee, but this is really unnecessary, as our tour guides speak loudly and clearly. If you still want the audio enhancement, please indicate this when booking (online via the comments field).

The age recommendation for Nico's tour is for ages 13/14 and up..

Our open fixed tour dates take place more at an adult level and are therefore only suitable for Participants aged 15/16 and over suitable, as they are not usually adapted to different ages.
At Group bookings (e.g. for school classes) can content and narrative style adapted to the age This will allow some younger students to participate. However, a complete reduction in age restrictions is not possible. We no longer accept groups below the recommended minimum age to ensure the tour remains respectful and meaningful for everyone involved.
Because:
- Our tours address tough, personal issues such as addiction, violence, and homelessness.
- The content is not "artificially embellished," but deliberately real and authentic.
- Younger students often show little interest or understanding of the seriousness of the topics.

Yes, our tours are perfect for school groups, especially for Ethics and social studies lessons as well as for Addiction prevention. Teachers can freely choose which of the two tours is better suited to their class; both address homelessness and drug addiction.

Yes, generally our tours in any weather Rain, cold, or heat are not grounds for cancellation. Only in exceptional weather conditions, where safe execution or arrival is not possible, can a tour be postponed or cancelled.
If it rains heavily, our tour guides have umbrellas and there are places to take shelter. In the summer heat, there are shady areas to retreat to.

The meeting point is at the Karlsplatz subway station, At the Resselpark exit, directly opposite the police station. From the passageway, you can see the main exit towards Resselpark. Immediately upon exiting this exit, the police station is on the right and the meeting point is on the left, directly in front of a long staircase.

The meeting point is at the Westbahnhof subway station, The starting point is in the hall near the exit from the train station, or on the level between the U3 and U6 stations, which you cross when transferring from one subway line to the other – right in front of Burger King. The launch site is then 30 meters away in front of the phone booths, but Nico is waiting in front of Burger King – because it's much easier to find.

For Individual bookings and small groups:
If prior notice is given, wait our tour guides maximum 10 minutes, before they start the tour! You can still join them afterwards.
Because the starting point is also the first stop on the tour, the group can easily be caught up with. They will stay here for at least 20 minutes before continuing to the next stop.
For Group bookings:
On groups wait our tour guides maximum 15 minutes.

During the tour there are actually no breaks, However, seating is available at almost every station.
Both tours pass by two public toilets (one of which is pay-to-use).

There are fixed deadlines Available for individuals and small groups. Groups of four or more can also choose a tour date outside of the scheduled dates. Groups can generally book any tour date.

Yes, It's also possible to enter a tour date outside of the fixed schedule. Simply... call up or by Mail write and let us know your preferred date. If possible, it will be officially entered into the booking system, allowing other people to join. If the minimum number of registrations is not reached, the tour will be canceled. The earlier these extra dates are added, the sooner others can book them, and the greater the chance that the tour will actually take place.

Yes Of course, if no other participants are desired, the tour can be booked privately – simply mark „Private Tour“ or tick a box when booking.
A private tour costs at least €240 flat rate. The flat rate covers the regular costs per person, up to a total of €240. Only if the total costs exceed this amount due to group size will additional participants be charged at the respective group rate.

The flat rate includes up to 24 students (at €10 each) for a school class. For each additional student beyond the first 24, an extra €10 is charged. - Example for a group of adults:
For a group of adults, the flat rate includes up to 15 adults (at €16 each). From the 25th person onwards, an additional €16 per adult is charged. - Example of a mixed group:
For a group of 10 adults and 10 seniors, the price includes 10 adults (at €16 each) and 6 seniors (at €12 each). The 4 additional seniors cost €12 each.
Or it includes 10 senior citizens (at €12 each) and 7 adults (at €16 each), and for the 3 additional adults, there is an extra €16 per adult.

The lecture is suitable Perfect for 2-3 school classes Simultaneously. This keeps costs down and the number of participants manageable. The surcharge for additional school classes is significantly cheaper than another lecture, as it's no problem for our presenters to give a few more lectures, but quite challenging to give the same lecture twice in a row.

There are no official maximum limit. The maximum number of participants depends on the resources of the individual school. As long as a microphone, a room, and the necessary equipment for x classes are available, the presentation can take place for x classes simultaneously. We will fully adapt to the wishes and requirements of each school.

The presentations can be adapted, but only to a limited extent. Therefore, we ask that you do not book the presentation for younger children, as it deals with sensitive topics such as violence and drug use.

Yes, culture pass holders can take part in the tours free of charge. It can easily be specified when booking the culture pass (online in the note field).
For people without a culture pass who cannot afford the tour but really want to take part, we are happy to make an exception - just contact us.
