FAQ

tour

How long will the tour take?

The tour lasts about 2 hours, depending on the size of the group and how many questions the participants ask.

In which language is the tour offered?

Martin's tour can be booked in German or English. On the booking page you can then choose between "Tour (German)" and "Tour (English)".

What is the minimum number of participants for the tour to take place?

A total of at least 4 people must have registered for the respective tour in order for it to take place. If fewer than 4 participants have booked the tour, it may be canceled and the booking participants will be informed in advance.

What is the maximum possible number of participants for the tour?

The maximum possible number of participants is around 40 people.

Larger groups should better be divided into two tour dates. This number is only high enough so that school classes can participate in the tour together and not separately.
In the case of the tours that are offered for private individuals, there are usually groups of around 4 to 10 people.

What is the recommended age for the tour?

We generally recommend the tour from the age of 13.

In principle, younger participants could also attend the tour, but the final decision is left to the parents or teachers. We would advise against it, as tough issues like violence and drug use are discussed. Martin's lecture can be adapted (especially for school groups), but only to a limited extent.

Does the tour take place in all weathers?

Yes, our tours take place in any weather.

When it rains, Martin has umbrellas for the participants and when the sun is beating down, they can move to shaded areas.

Are dogs allowed on the tour?

Yes, dogs are welcome on the tour.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the tour is easily accessible everywhere.

Martin is already 10 minutes before the official start time at the meeting point - at the exit of the passage in the direction of Resselpark.

He wears a name tag around his neck that says "Guide MARTIN" and the Wiener Nimmerland logo. Also, he is easily recognizable by his red hair. Because they are no longer green, but red.

Where is the starting point of the tour?

The meeting point is directly at the subway station Karlsplatz, at the exit in the direction of Resselpark, directly opposite the police station.
