More about the tour*

The tour is a thematic city tour which is intended to convey socio-political education in an alternative way. Discover a different side of Vienna and so far hidden places.

Let Martin tell you how he ended up on the streets of Vienna as a teenager after fleeing the shelter for homeless teens he was put in.

Find out how he slithered through life on drugs and alcohol for a while, only to eventually get stuck on substitute drugs.

Learn with him that stupid decisions can lead to serious consequences, what daily challenges this entails and why the recidivism rate for people after withdrawal is so high!

Discover how you can feed yourself through the craft of “dumpster diving” and how you can manage everyday life (hygiene, health, sleeping space, etc.) without money.

Find out why a house occupied by 19 people had to be evicted by 1,700 police officers as Martin tells you the story of the 'famous' eviction of pizzeria Anarchia in 2014. Which attracted a lot of media attention at the time and still does to this day news videos to be found.
